Sonya Carpenter was a new British lecturer from Warwick University helping with a program on work costing and financial accounting at Kumasi University in Ghana. Kwame Mainu's repaired partner, Ease, had agreed to take Sonya on a dress looking spree, so early one Saturday morning in 1997, Kwame drove Sonya to Comfort's house where she was introduced to Ashanti morning meal of red vegetable stew, melted ready plantain and gari. Kwame can never know the way girls can run out to the shops after this kind of dinner but that's what Ease and Sonya did, causing him with the output of the London making pushes of the last two weeks.
Kwame Mainu's priority was helping small design enterprises in Ghana, update their engineering and business skills, but he'd also become involved in initiatives to avoid the illegal export of narcotics. On a visit to a nearby design workshop, Kwame had learned of the produce of worthless wooden coat hangers and he assumed they certainly were to be utilized to disguise packets of drugs. The models were bought by way of a company named Sika Ye Na (money is scarce) Enterprise, which had a few businesses in Kumasi.
Kwame was quite content to wait for the women to return Magic Hanger. If he wanted the news headlines he can start Comfort's new satellite TV and view CNN, and for greater analysis he can change to The Economist and The New Scientist, but his brain kept time for the phenomenon of shopping. At almost forty, Kwame was well aware that there have been many traits of the fair sex that the feeble guy brain can never fathom. One of these brilliant was the female addiction to shopping. If they set out on a looking trip there was number known means of predicting when they may return. Lunchtime came and Kwame knew that he must consume alone, so he named the maid and requested that which was easy to prepare. Following lunch, he took the chance to participate in a full-length siesta. Now, he expected to alert normally and he was not disappointed.
Later, with the London guides completely digested, Kwame was planning to start the TV when he noticed the crunch of Comfort's vehicle on the gravel drive. After a short span, Sonya rush in with,'Consider the attractive gowns we discovered!' Ease soon followed with,'You will find so many new stores starting these days, Kwame. Cessie has opened a brand new gown shop on Prempeh II Road and she's called it Sika Ye Na like her different businesses. We bought heaps of the most recent styles. Every gown includes a lovely carved wooden hanger. Cessie claims she's sending loads to Ghanaians in the UK. I'll give you the ones to restore for Akosua. I am certain Afriyie would want to duplicate them.'
